Bike to Work Day 2015 is Friday, May 15th! The Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) and Bikeatoga will once again sponsor the Capital Region Bike to Work Challenge for Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties.
- Organization with the largest number of riders
- Small organization with the highest percent participation (20 or fewer employees)
- Organization over 20 employees with the highest percent participation
- Person who rode the farthest.
This year, together with the New York Bicycling Coalition, Capital Moves will be holding Commuter Workshops in each city to hear from experienced bicycle commuters! Hors d’Oeuvres will be provided.

Other Events:The Department for Environmental Conservation’s office in Albany is once again hosting “Green Your Commute Day” with online registration for anyone commuting “green” to downtown Albany, with a Green Car Show, Local businesses, Give-aways, Bike shop, info on green commuting, and Downtown Albany info in Tricentennial Park mid-day on May 15th.
